How does your media product represent particular social groups?

there are 2 types that we use in our film. we have a young charter who is a criminal, so we put him into a hoody and jeans to make him look like a modern crime; as most crimes these days are cosed by young males in hoodys. also, this suted the chater because of the mobility that the chater needs for the chase. then the other charter is much older and is wearing a suite, we put him into a suite to show that he is a professional man and like to look nice on the job. but this is not really suited for the chase as it gives little mobility

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

the kinds of production companies that would produce our the style of our film, would be a independent film maker e.g. Miramax, Focus pictures, liongate or other similar companies. these would be the best companies, as a mainstream companies like 20th century fox or universal studios would not suite the low cost style of the film. as our film is more aimed towards a smaller audience, so if it was made into a big budget film; we would not get a big enough audience to come and see the film to make enough sales.

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (part 2)

For our project we used the common conversions of a opening sequence of a film. thought the sequence we tried to tell the story of our film without giving to much of the story away to early in the film, but still allowing people to understand what is going on. we have used our titles to introduce the makes and proformas of our film, like outher thriller films we used big, blod wight text; also they are placed in a dinamic way to make the more intresting, rather than them just sitting on screne.

we have use sound in our film to give feeling of the atmospere of what is going on in the scene. starting with a up beat piece of music, gives the feeling that there is something going on and that this man is going to it. then as he chase starts the music canges to a much faster piece of music, showing the engering and movement in the scene.

In what ways does my media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (part 1)

with our film, we tried to make the titles very similar to types of films that make there titles to integrated with the scene behind. the image is a example of a film that uses this techniques, but the titles are a bit more Paramount then our work.
