Conventions of an Opening Sequence

Some of the main conversions of a opening sequence are

• To give a small amount of the story to the audience, but not to much to give away the whole story right away. it needs to make the audience ask questions on what is going on, so they are pulled in to watch the film.

• Also, the opening needs to have little clues to foreshadowing bigger things later in the film. this will give the audience things to keep in mind while watching the film.

• titles of the producers, writers, the director, main actors, sound, makeup and costume, special effects, etc. the titles can also be used to give the feeling of the film; like the titles were to move in a ereey way to show that there is unnatural with in the film.
