What are the titles?

Director: the director of the film is the most important person making a film, as they must control the actors to allow then to best show the charters, emotions and stereotypes that the film requires. Also the director has a big part in the casting and editing parts of the film, this helps them to best portray their idea of what the film should look like.

Producer: A film producer or movie producer is someone who selects a screenplay, initiating the process of film making. The title Executive Producer is normally reserved for a producer with a financial interest in the production. The producer oversees the whole process including coordinating, supervising and controlling matters such as fund-raising, hiring key personnel such as the film director, other producers involved on production, line producer, accountant and arranging for distribution.

Casting: a casting director is one of the most important roles in film making. As they have to look at each of the different roles in the film and then send out “breakdowns”, details of the people they want for the film, to different agents. Once they get replies from the agents, they must go though each one and then get them to audition; to finally find the best person who fits the role.

Editing: Film editors are the people who take the raw footage shot on a movie set, and select which shots, angles, performances and more to use, and then cut them together to form a cohesive and interesting story. This will be over looked by the director, as he has the overall vision of what the film should look like.

Costume designer: the main role of the costume designer is to crate suitable costume, cloths that best suit the genre or time period, for the actors to wear. They will consort with the director and lighting director to get the most out each piece of clothing.
